12 Days of Christmas Wishing – December 2

“On the Second Day of Wishing,

I’d like to have a smaller tree.”

So if yesterday’s tree was “too large”, “too much applique”, or “too white”, can we entice you with today’s offering?  These trees are only about 9” high and 9” wide.

They also:

  • Protect your hands from burns when picking up hot pots, pans, and plates.  (That’s right, they are pot holders!)
  • Are a great hostess gift.
  • Could be a fantastic secret santa gift for your guild present exchange.
  • Help fill a sock.
  • Are a terrific price at $9.99.

The kit includes the pattern, fabric, and insulbrite to make one pot holder.  We currently have the 3 colourways shown above.  Found on our website at:

Blue – http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_id=487&page_id=23&Item_ID=13807

Red/Green – http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_id=487&page_id=23&Item_ID=13808

Candy Canes – http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_id=487&page_id=23&Item_ID=13809

And while we are on the subject of trees, we also have the Charlie Brown Christmas quilt kit.  Who can forget the only real – but very small – tree that Charlie Brown picked for the play.  This quilt has the panel scenes from the animated special, and when I look at it, the music always comes back to me.

  • Quilt finishes approximately at 66.75” X 82.75”.
  • Kit includes pattern, and fabric for the top and binding.
  • $124.99

Here is the link to the song that keeps playing in my head (in case you were wondering, “Good grief Linda, what are you thinking!?):

Yes, Christmas time is here,

    • Hi Bill,

I have already deleted your address from all the e-mail lists I manage. Unfortunately, I cannot delete “followers” to the blog which is where you are receiving these e-mails from. At the bottom of the blog e-mail post, you will see:

Unsubscribe or change your email settings at Manage Subscriptions.

Please click on the highlighted Manage Subscriptions. It will then take you to a page of blogs that Joan would have subscribed to. Hover your mouse over Along Came Quilting and the words Unfollow comes up. Please click on Unfollow and the subscription will be deleted.

      Best regards
